14-1 new to me
Just traded into this 14-1. The K414xxx serial number puts it as 1960 DOS. Bore is nice and shiny, not sure if grips are original or not, but they are era correct.
There is bluing loss on both sides of barrel at muzzle. Not much on right side but scattered loss on left side about 2" long. Very difficult to photograph in natural light. It has the .500 hammer and the standard .265 trigger. Lock up is good. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I think I read somewhere that in the -1 engineering change there were not too many revolvers produced, not rare by any means.
I'm into this trade $395 Those grips have to be worth at least
$175 or so.
