Wow, thank you gwpercle. How in the world did you make a living at art? I'm thoroughly impressed.
Engineer1911: I wonder if those 2 things go hand in hand or something. Because I play guitar, bass guitar and drums. When I got out of high school, that was my passion and I stuck all of my time and effort into it. I should've stayed in college, but I can say I chased my dream. Never went anywhere other than played a few shows that were large venues. But none of the bands ever made it big. Oh well. That's life in the big city. I have used that skill at church though in my adult life.
If I would've been smart I would've kept with drafting too. Like you did. You were smart. I did work as a CAD guy for my Brother in law for a couple of years. And I had mechanical drawing in high school and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think I was decent at it too. Geometry was simple for me. Trig, ugh.......
