I never saw that when he made the comments. For the record here is what he said:

This quip was delivered at a National Board of Review film awards ceremony honoring the loudmouthed actor. When called on about the stupid comment, Clooney dismissed any opportunity to apologize.

So yeah, if someone says something unkind about little George, or even if they wish him ill, that really doesn't bother me as much now as it might have before I read his comments. What goes around comes around....
