I would grab my O/U with brenneke personal defense slugs. Head shots are easy standing unsupported to 25 yards. I have killed every manner of beast (squirrel, rabbit, dove, duck, goose, pheasant, turkey, coon, coyote, and many deer, the green brennekes will group under 2 inches all day long with both barrels, i/c choked, often touching at 40 yards with just front bead) with my Browning Citori White Lightening over the decades and I have imminent unflinching confidence in my ability to connect on high stress quick reaction moving or stationary targets. If given the choice of only one firearm, it would win hands down. ***** sorry for the semi off topic rant.
