But still, I have a question for the DSS cognoscenti out there. What was the exact finish called on these m19's? Was it just a typical matt blue finish, did it have a particular name?

Just curious because I'm starting to start my skulking around to find one, and if the finish is worn (likely for a revolver this old), I'd like to get it refinished but (if possible) with the exact same factory finish.
