How is the fit of these pants of which you speak? So many clothes are made in Bangladesh or Indonesia where the folk are smaller and I find them quite uncomfortable .The distance from low waist to crotch seems shorter than needed and too tight for your “package”. I recently bought “ball room jeans” and these seem OK but heavy.Recent Carhart “relaxed fit “ jeans were a little snug.
A couple of years ago I found kaiki trousers made as those of WWII and they were really roomy, deep pockets of heavy cloth and button fly to avoid zipper breakage.No extra pockets however.
