I'm fairly certain Andy didn't mean to say what he said, but he said it---and maybe he knows something I don't.

So what possible difference in the value of a pair of grips is made by a low serial number?

It's never happened, but if you offer me a pair of grips numbered to my gun, I'm going to sit up and take notice!! Otherwise----------------------------------

And speaking of grips and numbers, I have a pair of pre-war Magna's (N frame---early). They are essentially as new. They are numbered to 52426. Anybody got that? Want your grips?
