THANK YOU. The stock IS NOT cut out, so it was a single shot from the git go. "REMINGTON MODEL 40-X is stamped right into the receiver. YES it shoots WAY better than me. 0.33" @ 200 yards was my best with Hornady match 52gr bthp's. Bug holes quite often @ 100. Got it right before my accident,
now with hand feeling loss/neuropathy/shakes, the old H&R Varmintmaster is easier to use. I am able to send pics to a phone # or e-mail. PM me if interested. Thanks again for the help.
