Those look nice, but I would make the grips go to the top of the frame. That squared off part of the frame would bite into my hand with anything but target loads. I think the best way to make comfortable magnum grips that don't cover the backstrap is to make them wide with a big radius at the top. Most grips I see are way too thin there, and don't give a rounded transition area.
