I sold the Cokes, because
A) they weren't original to the gun - only available from S&W on Magnum calibers - not 44 specials, and
B) They were in nice shape - not quite 100% but very nice. I shoot all my guns, so they would either have gotten dinged up or left sitting in a box - neither of which would do me as much good as the $500 I got for them.

The guy who bought them had a nice Pre-27 that was of the right vintage to have been ordered with Cokes, but had incorrect grips on it. Since target stocks (at that time Cokes) weren't numbered to the gun, putting Cokes on it transformed it into a very nice period correct piece.
