For my 39xx guns, I use a Pachmyar slip on grip to make them easier to hold. Part of the problem is the that the Delryn feels "slippery" to me and hence the gun "squirms" around in my hand without the grip sleeves.

As with any new to you firearm, lots of dry fire practice helps.

It's worth getting used to the 3913, because it's a great shooting firearm.
