Back in the 1960s the Bucheimer Semi Shoulder Holster was quite popular. Some people did not like the straps of the real shoulder holster and used this. One of my fellow gun nuts bought the Colt Snub Nose Python and wore it in a Bucheimer Semi Shoulder. He convinced me that was the way to go for my 3" S&W J frame. I of course tried it but soon left the plate attachment off. I still have both parts but doubt that I will ever use the belt attachment piece again.
