Detail strip is when you completely take apart the pistol for cleaning, as opposed to just field striping where you remove the slide, barrel, and recoil spring.
Also, the sights are replacable. You need to pound them out with a brass punch and a large hammer. They only come out one way. Much, much tighter than any other pistol I’ve had - especially the rear sight. The rear sight has a set screw that’s easy to miss. The spring for the firing pin block is also under the rear sight. Need to be careful removing the rear sight not to lose that spring.
