They look good!

When I bought my 1006 from a private dealer last year it had some plain Hogue wood grips on it. Before agreeing to buy it I asked if I could pull the slide off & inspect the innards, which he agreed to.

The slide was VERY hard to get off the frame & even harder to get back on the frame. The seller couldn't do any better. FINALLY I got it on & agreed to buy if for a slightly less price figuring I'd be able to fix it.

Turned out to be all because of the wooden grips. The drawbar was hitting the wood grips when you pressed down on the levers to slip on the slide. Whoever installed them obviously never tried to remove the slide afterwards.

Moral of the story: Check for proper clearance between the grips & the mechanics of the pistol.
