It's a Military & Police revolver from approximately the mid-1950s. It should have a "C" in front of the serial number. This variation is actually known as a 5-screw, with four side plate screws and a bolt stop spring screw in front of the trigger guard. It predates the use of model numbers by a couple of years, but some would call it a pre-Model 10.
