Boy, isn't that the truth...!

FWIW, I included an image of my 642's holster. Yes it was my daily carry. I have since re-dyed the holster black.

I also replaced the 642 Aluminum frame with a new steel frame 2in Kimber, and THAT added another round (now 6). The Kimber only weighs 23oz vs the 642's 14.4oz empty. Why Kimber?... The last image shows how my then new 642 arrived, and all of the aluminum shavings internally. This was the second new S&W purchase in ~2yr that I had to do a trigger job on to get them to function properly, hence the Kimber this go around.
