I also have a nice 28-2 / 6" barrel . I like it especially for the 180 gr cast bullet full magnum loads using 296 . The longer sight radius + the increased velocity of the longer barrel are very appealing to me . I would suggest buy the 29 outright , shoot it and take at least 30 days to decide the future of the 28 . You may find the 29 is just not appealing to you . Regards, Paul
