I've got one that was refinished nicely, although in order to get as much pitting as possible it appears to have received some serious metal removal in particular around the Brazilian Crest, however I appreciate the work done was probably done by hand with the inspection plate in place as the fit and finish in that area is nice. I looked at a Brazilian model yesterday that although refinished nicely was obviously done with the plate removed, so that the fit has that rounded look...turns me off instantly. I'd rather see a large pit left in an area not highly visible that see that type of metal removal.
These revolvers are special to me partly due to the fact that my first .45 ACP/AR revolver was a Brazilian model and got me involved with shooting that caliber in a revolver, something I highly recommend to anyone that likes to shoot handguns.
