Hello, I'm not totally new to guns but haven't been an active shooter in like 3 decades. I got an itch to shoot again and just bought a new 9mm semi automatic pistol and I'm really enjoying it. I'm also thinking about buying a S&W 357 686 Plus. Nice gun but a little pricey. Question: I've got an older S&W 38 Special CTG, blue, 4" barrel that I've had for decades. Rarely fired, pristine condition. How do I find out what year it is?
