Rudy was also a good friend of my buddy Hayes Otoupalik who put me in contact with Rudy's son Dean.
Hayes purchased the Civil War Napoleon cannon from the estate when Rudy passed.
Dean and his brothers are going to dig through the records to see if they can find an invoice for this 3.5" Pre-27 so I can put the information with the gun.
I also picked up a copy of Rudy's book about his trip to Alaska.
The family has not approached me about purchasing the gun from me......but they know where it is......but it's one of my favorite S&W's and will not be going anywhere for a while.
