Default Poor Timing at Local Gun Show

Ever have poor timing at a show? Today I walked 20 feet in the door and sold an AR. I took the buyer to pick up the box and accessories. On the way back in, pretty much in the same spot, I saw a 2 1/2 inch 686-1. It had just been sold. I talked with the seller later and he let it go for $ 550.

I had a 4 inch 686-1, a model 65 three inch and a USP compact 45 stainless for sale. A few people showed interest in the revolvers but no takers. A couple of minutes later one of the lookers showed me a model 68 6 inch LAPD marked gun he had picked up for $ 600.

I would have purchased both guns in a heartbeat. But I was just a few minutes late. I did end up selling my 686 and stuck around for a couple of hours. Nothing else piqued my interest while there. Has anyone else struck out so spectacularly in one day?
