I have missed out but I have probably also gotten lucky the same number of times. I passed on a 60-10 one time at a local show, then at the next show it was back and already sold by the time I spotted it. The guy took $100 less than he wanted originally. That was a few years ago and I haven't seen a 60-10 in person since.

On the other hand I happened upon a 5" 629-3 Classic in an LGS completely by chance. This store posts it's used inventory online so it wouldn't have made it day.

The worst thing you can do is walk away from a gun to "think about it"
