I'm a little slow on the uptake, but I think you and
PCnotPC are in violent agreement. His post, referenced as "a very understandable explanation," points out that if the trigger both cocks
and releases the hammer/striker, the weapon is double-action, which is what you seem to be saying, as well.
Am I missing something? You two seem to agree on the double-action definition.
