Back in my cop days, I carried either a .45 semi-auto or a .45 ACP revolver as my duty gun. I had a .38 special Colt Cobra in an ankle holster. And, I had a NAA .22 Magnum in my left (weak hand) front trouser pocket. There was always a knife or two in a pocket.
Yes, I DID work in a rough town.
