Im sending the slide and sight to Trijicon. They're going to install a new one for me for free. I had an informative conversation with one of their Techs an he explained that tolerances can be off by the slightest amount but they have equipment that can either shimmy or press a loose or tight sight. They also mentioned they warranty their work for life. Basically, not all sights produced by the same company may be made equal. It happens. As long as it can be made right and reliable, I'll be happy. Thank you to all who replied.
