I've owned a few Weatherby's of the years, currently just have two. One is an early Mark V TRR model in 308, they have a Krieger barrel and is way more accurate than I'm capable of shooting. I had a 270 Wby Mark V for a bit, but I always felt it was more gun than I needed, and expensive to shoot. The other is a Vanguard in 30-06 that was customized by Harry Lawson. It's a fine shooter, and looks good too! I'm a sucker for those Lawson thumbhole stocks though. Thinking back now oddly enough, I traded that 270 Mark V for a Ruger #1 in 7x57 with a Lawson stock.
