OK some days, going further from home....... I trade the 3913 with a spare mag (7+1+8) for a PC Shory-9 (12+1+15) or a Beretta 92 Compact (13+1+17) or Centurion 18+1+18+18).
If I thought I might fine the need a second gun...... two choices..... stay home a read a good book; or........ take a carbine.

or a personal "suburban" PDW favorite; a Beretta CX-4 9mm pistol caliber carbine with 20* and 30 rd factory mags that also work in my Beretta 92 Centurion.
*Footnote:I like a shorter magazine in the gun as slightly more PC look and easier to maneuver in/from a vehicle.
