Hey pasound,

I have an '09 M&P 15T (awesome except for the proprietary barrel nut that only accepts a couple Leapers UTG handguards).

Question for you:
I've got a buddy that just picked up a M&P 15 Sport OR with the railed front gas block and I want to recommend he adds an extended rail.

Of course this gas block is not low-profile, so when you installed your MLOK, did you have to remove the railed gas block or do you have a hand guard that clears it?
