Well said, Gary, very well said. The truly knowledgeable folks here on the forum "get it" - and they are more than intelligent enough to fully comprehend that there are only a tiny few 'absolutes' when it comes to firearms manufacturing history. Some others, who all too often proclaim their infinitesimally limited and usually incorrect 'knowledge' as absolute truth, well,.... they don't "get it" and likely never will.

Wasting our time? Maybe, but..... if one innocent soul is saved from unknowingly absorbing incorrect info, it's worth the time it takes to type such a fine educated reply as yours!
