I had a double stamped Springfield M1 Garand from 1944. Some said it added value and others said it was a flaw and collectors wouldn’t pay extra for it. I ended up selling it to buy an M1 Carbine and those that said it wouldn’t add value turned out to be correct. This might be different but I wouldn’t count on it. Good luck.
