Les & Richard, a while back our Holstorian, Red Nichols, enlightened me
about the spring type holster that you both show. That style was first
made by Lewis, like mine shown below on the left. Then by Clark, like
the two that you show. Red even thought Lewis and Clark might have
been one and the same because they had the "too short" spring in common.
Then it progressed to Bucheimer-Clark who lengthened the spring,
such as in their Sheriff model, shown 2nd from left.
Friday carried his model 10 2" barrel in a clip on Lewis on Dragnet.
Malloy on Adam 12 carried his backup also in a Lewis clip-on.
