A good guy with a file can do some real precision work. A klutz with a mill and a lathe can destroy stuff fast.

I got mine yesterday. Its a 10-7 and looks really good except for the stampings in front of tthe trigger guard. I am going to lightly peen that are well the use a small wheel attachment, with a wheel that matches the radius, on my industrial belt sander and smooth it out. I fount a 4" heavy barrel and longer ejector rod in the parts pile. Might just use them to start with. Maybe someday do something else with it.
