I bought a new 4-3/4 45LC BH last year and considered the convertible. I reload and came up with loads in 45LC comparable to 45acp and even lighter, It’s easy to download to a very accurate and mild recoil cartridge. I’m using a 200gn lead RNFP and HP-38 and getting down to 675fps with excellent accuracy and very little recoil. The cases drop out of the cylinder without using the ejector but the downside is dirty cases. The dirt is no problem in my opinion. I have a half dozen 45 acp 1911’s and a 625-2 If I want to shoot 45acp but just couldn’t see any advantage to a second cylinder with the BH.
