Hm. I’m pretty sure it’s an overlaying double-strike of whatever letter/number/symbol, but no matter how long I stare at an enlargement, the curtain doesn’t open
Normally, we don’t see any letters except the V and if applicable an S on the cylinder face, so I’m stumped. Maybe I’m missing something obvious .....
