I'm just asking the question. But it is because of all this that there is the huge question why S&W doesn't just get of their collective *** and make a S&W M&P 10 pistol on the .45 platform. Glock, Springfield, Sig and numerous 1911 makers have been doing it for a while. Barrel, recoil assembly and magazines. Done.
