The market really has the 547 in the clouds. The market isn’t always rational, but it -is- real. (Somewhat) limited supply, odd model, well made and like a lot of things, buyers find themselves in a place where they have the money to chase down interesting things from days gone by.

30 years ago... S&W and wholesalers could barely rid themselves of the 547. Same thing with the 16-4. Now they carry an eye-popping price tag.

Unless this example is beat up, then yes, he will likely sell it at $1,500.
