I've been looking for a lever gun in .357 to carry in the Bronco when I'm out knocking around in the boonies. I was planning to pick up a Rossi M92, but stumbled across a nice Marlin 1894C yesterday, so I grabbed it.



Made in 1979, so pre-safety, and pre- "Remlin", as they seem to be called over on the Marlin forums. My last Marlin was an 1895 in .38-55 made in the early 1900's, but that was almost 30 years ago. Haven't even had time to clean it yet, but already looking for a receiver sight.

I would have preferred a 16" gun, but this should do nicely.
