The last Mode 10 was issued to the NYPD in 1988. 4” heavy barrel with square butt Model 10-8. It was replaced by the Model 64 DAO. I know 3” 64’s were offered and they were round butt. Don’t recall a 3” Model 10.
I’m a gun guy obviously and noticed guns when I was still on the job. Don’t believe I ever saw a round butt Model 10.
