I too, have owned a Stoeger .22 LR Luger that shot and functioned very well. Another variety was a post war Enfurt made Luger in .380. It threw the empties further than it would shoot.
There were two DWM manufactured Lugers but, I only have one left. A photo of it and its companion, a P38, are attached.
My Dad bought both of these back in the 60's. $85.00 for the all matching Luger and $60 or $70 for the P38.
