Thanks for the kind words! I'm still not fully recovered,but have a laptop and can post.

I once tracked down the story behind that Nocona boot ad and published an article on it in, I believe, Knife World. The artist paints with great detail, as he studies his props. You can see the full tang edge on that Model, the snake's throat, etc.

I like Model 124 as a heavy knife, but the handle is a bit too thick for top comfort. (For my hand.)
