I just found the Gunsamerica ad. I also found an ad from last year on Northwest firearms classified site. It shows the box with the gun, which lists the gun as a 6450. It is a TBW serial number.
I don't know much about the 6450 models, except all the ads talk about it being a transitional model. !988 does seem to be the year they were made.
