The ones I've watched through the summer seem to have gone a bit "high" compared to just a year ago. They're have also been some wild swings in the prices on the auction sites (I never see Chiefs for sale locally).

Anywhere from $800 to $1,000 is what I've seen for almost as new in the box. As I recall the ones I've watched began as $00.01 opening bid auctions with no reserve. I don't pay any attention to auctions with a high opening bid or a reserve.
