(SOLD) - S&W Brazilian contract 1917 .45ACP Hand Ejector revolver
A very nice 1937 Brazilian contract S&W model 1917 in excellent arsenal refinished condition. The bore is in excellent condition with sharp lands and grooves and the cylinder lockup and timing are spot-on. The lack of cylinder endshake and no flame cutting on the top strap indicate the revolver was fired very little and it does not appear to have been fired since its arsenal refinish. The hammer and trigger retain most of their color casehardening. The late serial number puts it in the 1946 shipment from Smith & Wesson. The S&W magna stocks are obviously not original to the gun. No trades and forum rules apply. Now cross listed.
