Except that the Volcanic Rocket Ball did not use jet propulsion. One of the problems with the Gyrojet missile was that it took some time to accelerate to full velocity after it left the muzzle making it totally ineffective for close-up use. There was a Gyrojet appearance in the James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice."
