Yes, very nice shooting! That's the kind of group I was hoping to get with my 617-1 , still shoots pretty accurately free handed but the rested groups should be better. Might see about getting the crown cleaned up which might help.

I bought my 617 used earlier this year and it had misfires in DA shooting. I called Smith and they sent me a new main spring and everything was fine after that. The DA is now heavier but goes bang every time.
