My 1st "AR15" was the full auto version and I didn't care for it at the time. Pretty much stayed away from them until California told me I shouldn't have one. I think I'm up to about 10 now and all sorts of uppers.

Much as I like the bolt and single shot, lever action types and the work it can take to make them perform well, there's something about being able to drop in parts, add an upper and create a whole new type of rifle.
