I have read, and heard that MANY of the MAGPUL sights are knockoffs,
I was at a gun show about a month back, and asked one guy how much his new front sight was,,, "$12" was the answer.
Well, the price pretty much tells that one was a knockoff. He had a table full of the stuff.
With him, the first give away was where the paint was chipped, there was "white powder"
I think that was oxidized zinc,,,

There are a LOT of parts that are cheap knockoffs, designed for the "AirSoft" customers.

I guess the parts are virtually identical, packaging , and all.
The knockoffs are usually just molded zinc,

So, how do insure I am getting real MagPul??
