I've always liked the way a 1851 Colt's Navy felt in the hand, but never owned one. Saw a couple of Uberti repops for sale on the SASS site and decided it was time to get one. It was slightly used and came with a Slim Jim holster.
The '51 Navies must be good sidearms. Robert E Lee and Wild Bill Hickok both carried them.
It has been years since I've fired a percussion revolver, though I own several, all .44 caliber. Time to get my hands dirty again, well, after the weather gets a bit better.
