My most used powder is Winchester Super Field (WSF ) . 8.5 grs using a 210-240 gr cast bullet is very accurate and yes , " it's clean shooting " . In my model 58 , that's my everyday standard load . I don't have a chrono but it's probably 900+ fps . I'm not really concerned about velocity as I am more about accuracy / consistency . Regards Paul
