Default My 629 Talo w/ cylinder crack came back from the factory

My original post can be found here: Crack or scratch in new 629?

The revolver arrived today. I’m a satisfied customer.

The cylinder was obviously replaced with a new one. This one has no flaws that I can find.

They fixed the side plate gouge as well, and removed a deep scratch where the barrel was screwed in the frame. The forcing cone looks like it was cleaned up too. And the gun is as clean as could be.

It’s about as perfect as I can expect at this point.

I’m still disturbed that the cylinder had the fracture and it left the factory like that. But this revolver is now a keeper.
